Disclaimer

In plain language, because this page matters. DoseUnits is a calculator. It is not a doctor, a pharmacist or a medical service, and nothing on this site is medical advice.

What the tools do

They convert between amounts, volumes and syringe units, using numbers you enter. That is the beginning and the end of it. No tool here recommends an amount, a schedule or a product, and the worked examples dotted around the site are demonstrations of arithmetic. Read them as sums, not suggestions.

What the tools cannot do

A calculator cannot know what is actually inside your vial. It reads the amount printed on the label, the same as you. If the contents differ from the label, the arithmetic can be perfect and the result still wrong for that vial. DoseUnits does not test products, does not verify suppliers and does not endorse either. We sell nothing.

It is also worth saying out loud: some of the compounds in the presets are not approved medicines, and one is an experimental drug still in clinical trials. The Methodology page sets out each one's status, from the regulators themselves. A preset exists because people search for the calculation. It is not a comment on whether anyone should use the substance.

Your side of it

Check any result that matters before you act on it. The formulas are published precisely so that you can. If you are unwell, or making decisions about treatment, talk to a qualified clinician. If it is an emergency, call your local emergency number.
